Feast of the Holy Archangels

Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,

I’m inviting you to join me in a new and urgent prayer campaign called St. Michael Arise!

It is my conviction that America is being spiritually overtaken by wave after wave of wickedness, which has drastic implications for destruction of souls and of the very fabric of our nation.

Do you see it too? Are we able to name it for what it is?

A Flood of Evil

Just like the dragon in the Book of Revelation “spewed a torrent of water out of his mouth after the woman to sweep her away with the current,” (Rev 12:15), so America is being flooded with a host of unclean spirits which I’ve identified on my website, “spirits in high places who are now at work in the disobedient” (Eph 2:2)

It’s not hard to conclude that the Evil One has been unchained and is running rampant in our culture, creating chaos and havoc everywhere.

A Spiritual Remedy

A spiritual illness needs a spiritual remedy, and the holy angels are given to us for such spiritual crises. The record of scripture is clear that the angels rescue God’s loved ones who cry out to Him.

• Isaac was rescued by the intervention of an angel (Gen 22:11)
• An angel appeared to Moses (Ex 3:2) and then rescued the Israelites from their oppression (Ex 11:6; 14:20)
• Gideon was visited by an angel who helped him save Israel from the Midianites (Jdg 6:12-24)
• St. Raphael healed Tobit from blindness and freed Sarah from an evil demon (Book of Tobit)

The Great Archangel

The greatest exercise of angelic power, though, was the expulsion of Satan and his angels from heaven (Rev 12:7-9), and we all know that story:

St. Michael, the Archangel did that.

• Michael, the Prince of the Heavenly Host
• Michael, the great commander of the forces of heaven
• Michael, the greatest and most powerful of all the angels
• Michael, the one whose very name is a challenge to anyone who would rebel against the One True God: “Who is like unto God?”

It’s time to pray again and with great urgency—St. Michael, come to the rescue of our beloved nation!

Come, rescue America from the encroaching power of the enemy!

Come, wake us up as a culture to see the demons at our door!

Come, give us the strength to fight the good fight and persevere in the battle for our souls and the souls of our loved ones!

We are all worried about the midterm elections—and rightly so—but this is not a political message or campaign. It is entirely spiritual, and it is a prayer effort that will continue beyond the elections.

The Campaign

This is a viral campaign. In the future, I hope to have prayer cards made up to spread the word, but for now, the campaign will reach you through email and other social media sources.

No one is forced to pray so you may unsubscribe at any time! But, of course, I hope you stay with us and spread the prayer to others.

The St. Michael Arise! message will reach you in bi-weekly “Prayer Reminder” emails that will highlight some of the urgent prayer needs of our nation and ask for more fervent prayer before our midterms.

Then, since prayer will still be needed beyond the election, I will keep the reminders going so that we all can do everything possible to keep our nation from being overtaken by evil.
